Modernization of town lighting system took place in the beginning of 2012 in Slavniy town in Tula region. Street DKU luminaires were installed on several streets and in some surrounding grounds of residential buildings. The luminaires are mounted on traditional Russian consoles, that significantly simplifies their installation. Low energy consumption allows to reduce electricity costs three times in comparison with traditional analogues. Long operating life of LED luminaires and absence of replaceable components allows to reduce service costs.
